So Sad

Hi all, thank you all for your well wishes. James and I are devastated at the loss of our Boda. We loved him so much.

He was hit by a car yesterday afternoon and it was over instantly. We can be thankful that he did not suffer or know what happened. Bode saw a kid on a scooter and ran across the street to chase him. A car hit him. Thankfully the driver stopped. I am so grateful to him for doing that.

We took him to the vet, they will cremate him and return his ashes to us so he can always be with us.

I am sure most of you know that Bode was our first baby. We loved him so much. When I was pregnant with Nicholas, Bode was constantly by my side. He liked to sleep by my tummy, even when he finally got pushed out by the size of it! When I had morning sickness, Bode would follow me to the bathroom, resting his head on me when I couldn't move.

Bode, I am so sorry that this happened to you. I love you and Papa loves you. Sosa misses you so much. And Nicholas will grow up hearing about his big brother Boda.
